The Vesper is the Martini's cooler cousin. The reason it's so cool? It was first described by Ian Fleming in the 007 novel Casino Royale
It's a mix of gin, vodka, and sweet vermouth. It was originally made with the now discontinued Kina Lillet. There's debate over whether you should use Lillet Blanc or Cocchi Americano in this drink to best match the original recipe. I'm on the side of Cocchi Americano but feel free to use Lillet instead.
